Ryan’s career spans some of the most technically demanding corners of the field — from satellite payloads and drone imaging systems to augmented reality — with key roles at QinetiQ US and Corning Incorporated shaping his expertise in systems integration, data analytics, and applied engineering. A rare depth of experience across the full remote sensing stack gives Ryan a unique approach and perspective. He brings the same energy to developing talent as he does to developing products — championing a culture where emerging engineers are given the tools and experience to thrive.

Conor has always been drawn to building things — whether that's a 23-foot wind tunnel or a race-ready mountain bike. A love of tinkering and a knack for math and physics led him into Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Conor championed the design and fabrication of a draw-through wind tunnel that took first place in fabrication at CU's 2024 Engineering Expo. When he's not in the shop, Conor is building trails in the Santa Cruz redwoods, riding bikes, and planning his next adventure up and down the west coast.

At GeoPulse, Sebastian architects the software infrastructure and intelligent machine vision robotics systems that sit at the core of the platform.

Sebastian's path to software engineering ran straight through mathematics — earning both his B.S. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing from UC Santa Cruz, where a deep interest in complex problem-solving naturally grew into a passion for building software around it. During his time at UCSC, he collaborated directly with DARPA through the university's lab, tackling complex software challenges at the frontier of applied research. Away from the keyboard, Sebastian picks up the bass or guitar, heads to Tahoe to snowboard when the season allows, and gets outside on a hike whenever he can.

APPLICATIONS & MACHINE LEARNING

At GeoPulse, Alyn leads applications development and machine learning, developing the models and analytical tools that turn raw sensor data into actionable insight.

Alyn brings a rare mix of hands-on craft and rigorous theory to the team. After two years as a tradesman, he returned to school — starting in Mechanical Engineering before discovering a passion for physics — ultimately earning a B.A. in Physics from Cal State Long Beach and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from UC Santa Cruz. His graduate research focused on machine learning and uncertainty quantification of nonlinear PDEs, later applying those tools at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab and Singular Genomics Systems. What draws Alyn to the work is the chance to pull together perspectives from wildly different fields and test them against real problems. Outside the office, he surfs, tinkers with new builds, and keeps researching machine learning for the fun of it.
